Which mesh is best for mosquito net?

When choosing a mesh for a mosquito net, consider the following factors:

1. Mesh Size
Ideal Mesh Size: The mosquito mesh size should be small enough to prevent mosquitoes and other insects from passing through. A mesh size of 120-200 holes per square inch is generally recommended. This size is fine enough to block mosquitoes while allowing air to flow through.

2. Material
Polyester: Most commonly used for mosquito nets. It’s durable, lightweight, and resistant to tearing.
Cotton: Offers more comfort and breathability but can be heavier and less durable than synthetic materials.
Polyethylene/Nylon: Lightweight and durable, but may not be as breathable as cotton.
Aluminum or Stainless Steel: For window or door screens, these materials are strong, rust-resistant, and long-lasting.

3. Durability
UV Resistance: If the net will be exposed to sunlight, ensure the material is UV-resistant to prevent deterioration over time.
Tear Resistance: Choose a material that is strong enough to withstand regular wear and tear.

4. Coating/Treatment
Insecticide-treated nets (ITNs): These nets are pre-treated with insecticides to provide additional protection against mosquitoes.

5. Color
Light Colors: Typically preferred for mosquito nets because they are less likely to attract mosquitoes and other insects.
